Its good to see that you experimented with the 3 min microwave cake. I would have been curious as well. But hey! nothing ventured nothing gained. your version of the lasagna sounds delicious. I like the halloumi touch.

It would be great if you could get a dessert prepared and baked in 15 minutes, anyway there are always new things to learn and we won't know if we don't try them. As for garlic I did not like the taste of it but it seems that I have made some steps lately to include it in bigger quantities in my recipes and I must say when it's cooked I like it but tzatziki and skordalia I still put half quantity.

Too bad about the cake -- a 3 minute quick dessert would be nice. Are you allergic to garlic, or do you just not like the taste?

Peter, they say "curiosity killed the cat" well that's for being curious to see how a cake would come out in the microwave. You are right and until today I have never cooked in the microwave. As for halloumi, it gives a nice taste to anything.

Ivy, I guess you learned a lesson about microwaves.

They are good for defrosting and warming food up. Use it as an aid to cooking, not to replace the oven and stove.

As for your lasagna, interesting that you would use Halloumi...Cypriot lasagna!
