Oh my goodness. Such a devotion to making sausages! The end product looks very good. Most of the process looks like fun, but I’m not sure I would love the intestine cleaning part.

I think we would have to special order the casings as well sis, but these sounds incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Ivy! So much work… I’ve never done anything like this before… I might be lazy because I rather buy them done. Not that I don’t admire what you did… like Peter M says, this way you know what you eat ;D

My grandmother used to clean the intestines with just lots of salt and vinegar (no lemons). I confess I’ve never tried it myself. This is going to be added to my to-do list

Ivy, that is fantastic! I haven’t made our own sausages although we home-kill our lambs. We can’t use any casings because the ones sold are usually Pig’s. I don’t know if lambs’ can be casings? Not sure. Well, excellent work, Ivy!

you are an expert! wow! The recipe looks so good. And the pictures too. Even though I don’t eat pork, but hubby would surely drool over these. I don’t know if one could buy intestines so easily here locally. But, even I would prefer the natural product to the others, if I were ever to make them at home.
