Creative Concoctions # 1 – Roundup

Sharing is caring!

I am very excited to be posting the very first roundup of  Creative Concoctions.

Thank you all for your participation to the first Creative Concoctions Round-up and for the incredibly creative recipes sent in from foodies all over the world.

As you may see, I have changed the logo of the event and from now on this will be our new logo.  Hope you like it!

The entries have been posted in the sequence they arrived and we had entries from (alphabetically) Algeria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, India, Romania, Switzerland and United States.  I hope (and I am sure) that this event will be embraced with love and more talented foodies from all over the world will be joining us, to showcase their creative creations, in the future.

Cara, of Cara’s Cravings, from Massachusetts, USA has cooked Spaghetti Squash with Chard, Chickpeas and Cranberries.

Vegan Halvas with Nuts and Dried Fruit

Ryzokeftedes (Fried rice balls).

Thank you all again for participating with so many creative recipes and stayed tuned for the announcement of the next event, tomorrow, which will be Vegan  or for the Orthodox Nistisimes (Lenten Recipes).

You may be wondering why the pictures are numbered.  There will be a giveaway but unfortunately I cannot be giving one for each event, because a)  I do not have a sponsor, so anything given will be paid by me personally and b) I want to ship this giveaway worldwide to all my readers and postages cost more than the actual gift.   So, every 100 entries, whenever that may be (every 3 – 4  months) I will be giving something away.  It may be a copy of my cookbook, a gift coupon at Amazon, it may be Greek products, or something beautiful which is related to cooking, so keep your entries coming and you will have more chances to win.

In case any one else would like to host the event, you are welcome with no obligation for a giveaway, unless you want to do it and only for those participating at your event.

Kopiaste and Kali Orexi!
